    Tell us your ZIP, what you need, and roughly when. Skip the credit card — posting is always free.

    Get applications (usually within an hour).

    Helpers within your radius get pinged. Each one applies with their hourly rate, a short pitch, and links to past reviews.

    Compare profiles.

    Ratings from real hires, profile photos, a verified background-check badge, hourly rate, languages, vehicle, years of experience.

  4. 4

    Message and hire.

    Chat in-app. We don't share phone numbers or addresses until you decide to hire. Schedule the first visit when you're ready.

  5. 5

    Pay through Otter Works.

    Secure payment via Stripe, automatic receipts, tipping built in. Helpers are paid out weekly.
